We are seeking an experienced strategic focused professional to manage our IT group and lead technological initiatives to support our mission and staff. Communication with stakeholders at all levels including C-level management and board members is essential to this position. This position will engage with business units to identify and evaluate technologies that will be disrupting their business as well as the business of their clients. A strong fundamental background in IT operations is required.

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in information technology or business management and ten years of IT experience with at least three of those in IT management. Experience managing budgets, projects, systems, security, application development, implementation and end user services is a must. A strong foundation working with large complex systems, designing and implementing IT solutions, data and network security, and disaster recovery is required. Expertise in managing Microsoft technologies such as Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365 E5, Exchange Online, Teams, Microsoft Phone, SQL, SCCM and Microsoft Azure Cloud Services is also required. Experience in environments using AutoCAD and MicroStation CAD software, Data Centric design technologies such as Civil 3D and Revit, Innovyze modeling software such as InfoWorks, Esri ArcGIS software, Bentley ProjectWise, and BST Enterprise is desired. Typical responsibilities include:

  • Perform long-range planning of IT goals and strategies aligned with business initiatives to maintain competitiveness. Recognize new development in information systems technology and anticipate organizational modifications.
  • Develop and implement an annual IT plan and budget collaborating with the market segments and corporate groups
  • Ensure confidentiality and reliability of corporate data, proprietary information and intellectual property
  • Manage the IT department
  • Manage, organize and chair the IT Advisory Group and communicate action items and status back to board of directors
  • Lead the review and development of IT solutions and assist with project planning and implementation
  • Ensure IT needs of the organization are being met for market segments, offices, projects and users by meeting with managers and executives on a regular basis
  • Oversee negotiation and administration of vendors, outsourcers, and consultant contracts and service agreements
  • Develop and implement strategies for keeping IT equipment and software at the appropriate level of technology
  • Stay abreast of current technologies, work extended hours and travel when needed
  • Maintain a safe working environment
