Wade Trim is seeking a Summer Intern for Municipal Services who are pursuing a bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, preferably a Junior or Senior. Candidates should be a creative individual with a great sense of design and aesthetics, eager to learn and contribute immediately to our design projects. Must be able to operate in a fast paced, collaborative environment, be detail oriented, energetic, possess strong graphic and communication skills, and be able to work independently and in a team environment. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe, Photoshop/InDesign/Illustrator, Sketup and Microsoft Office is preferred. Typical Municipal Services internship responsibilities may include:

• Assist with technical design of projects (urban design, public space design, site development, recreation projects, etc.) from schematic design through construction document phase
• Assist with the design plans for site developments, campuses, parks, and urban planning and design projects
• Assist in the preparation of renderings and presentation graphics
• Assist in the preparation of construction documents and project specifications
• Assist in researching existing land use and regulations
• Assist with site inventory and analysis including field investigation and measurements
• Research and complete permits as necessary
• Maintain a safe working environment
