Candidates must have a high school diploma and three or more years of experience utilizing MicroStation and AutoCAD in a similar environment. Knowledge of personal computer hardware and software configurations and CAD training is also required. An associate degree is preferred. Candidates must have excellent organizational and follow up skills. Individuals must be self-motivated and able to work well with others. Typical responsibilities include:

• Prepare computer-generated working drawings that are project specific
• Print working drawings using a plotter
• Create estimated time requirements for projects
• Attend project-specific meetings to determine CAD schedules
• Save project-specific data on a daily and weekly basis
• Order and coordinate plan reproduction
• Complete and/or supervise 'as-built' drawings
• Contact utility companies for locations
• Verify field survey notes
• Assist Project Managers as needed
• Attend meetings as needed
• Maintain excellent client relations
• Maintain a safe working environment
