DEVOPS DEVELOPER

DETROIT/TAYLOR, MI


Position Description:


We are looking for a DEVOPS DEVELOPER to join our IT DEPARTMENT to improve infrastructure in our DEROIT/TAYLOR office. Candidates must have at least five years of business system support, portal development and programming experience in Java, JavaScript (Node.js), TypeScript (Knockout, React), Visual Studio Code, HTML/CSS, C#, Microsoft SQL and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Expertise with single page applications, azure web functions, and Node.js Micro Services is required. Experience implementing and supporting social media and mobile applications is preferred.

Candidates should have the ability to create end-user documentation and provide training for users. General IT related technical support experience and a broad knowledge of Microsoft Power System is a plus. Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and relate to a range of user levels. A flexible, hybrid-remote work schedule available after 90 days of employment. Typical responsibilities include:


  • Assist with the development of internal SharePoint pages with embed applications
  • Assist with the rapid development of business applications in the Microsoft Power Platform and in react apps.
  • Assist with financial reporting projects (SQL 2016, SSIS, SSRS, Microsoft Power Automate)
  • Support the development of the company Intranet and business system integrations
  • Develop, administer, and maintain key business metric applications.
  • Develop integrations and interfaces for Microsoft Office products, cloud and mobile applications, and for core engineering applications and end-users.
  • Develop and maintain written and visual end-user training material and provide end-user training for a variety of business systems.
  • Maintain job knowledge by participating in education opportunities and training
  • Exhibit discretion with confidential information
  • Ability to be open to learn and give and take feedback
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Maintain excellent client relations
  • Maintain a safe working environment


Education:


  • High School Diploma required


Skills/Experience:
