Engineer Summer Intern

Position Description:


We are looking for an Engineer Summer Intern to join our Transportation Team to improve infrastructure in our Taylor office. Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor"s degree in civil and/or environmental engineering (junior or senior status preferred) and possess valid driver"s license. Familiarity with Microsoft Office is required. Candidates must be self-motivated, very organized and have excellent communication skills. Typical Transportation internship responsibilities may include:


  • Assist in the development of transportation projects including road design, bridge design and traffic engineering projects
  • Assist with reviewing plans and specifications
  • Conduct field inspections and site reviews
  • Assist in preparation and submittal of any required permits
  • Assist Project Managers and Lead Designers
  • Perform design and quantity calculations
  • Maintain excellent team relations
  • Maintain a safe working environment


Education:


  • Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
