Engineer Summer Intern

Flint, MI

Position Description:

We are looking for an Engineering Summer Intern to join our ICE Group in our Flint office. The candidate must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, petroleum and natural gas engineering, or mechanical engineering (junior or senior status preferred) and possess a valid driver's license. Familiarity with Microsoft Office is required. Potential candidates should be interested in gas distribution design. The candidate must also be self-motivated, work well with others, and have excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills. Typical responsibilities include:

  • Assist in design reports and construction plans
  • Assist with the coordinate preparation of specifications and permit submittals
  • Assist in the preparation of preliminary project cost estimates and evaluate quantities
  • Document design changes and communications
  • Conduct on-site inspections as needed
  • Maintain excellent client relations
  • Maintain a safe working environment


  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Petroleum and Natural Gas engineering


  • Driver's License required
  • Interest in gas distribution design
