Quality Manager

Position Description:


We are looking for a Quality Manager to join our Administration Team to improve infrastructure in our Taylor office. The candidate must have a bachelor's degree and ten or more years of experience in professional environment or fifteen or more years commensurate experience in lieu of degree requirements. The candidate must also be self-motivated, work well with others, and have excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills. A flexible hybrid-remote work schedule is available after 90 days of employment. Typical responsibilities include:


  • Primary responsibility is to lead improvement and implementation of best practices, and methodologies including the curation, integration and development of quality workflows, standards, procedures, and processes to meet quality coverage needs of the organization
  • Develop and establish key metrics that measure quality performance and excellence relative to the deliverables and services provided to Wade Trim clients
  • Identify regular processes for the assessment and analysis of quality issues, particularly reoccurring issues, and recommend and facilitate solutions to these issues
  • Conduct internal audits of established quality control methods to identify potential problems, gaps, and recommend solutions to further improve quality processes and best practices
  • Review, monitor, and approve quality-related documentation (e.g., Quality Plans) and collect feedback from staff at the project level to ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, procedures, guidance documents, etc.
  • Attend meetings and submit quarterly and annual reports
  • Coordinate and direct Quality Lead(s) for each Market Segment
  • Develop, maintain, and update Wade Trim"s Quality Hub (intranet) site and quality training modules for new staff and new PMs on Wade Trim"s Learning Management System

  • Maintain a safe working environment



Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required



Skills/Experience:


  • 10 or more years of experience in related, professional environment or 15 or more years commensurate experience in lieu of degree requirements
  • Ability to manage a corporate-wide quality program
  • Experience in setting up, deploying, and enforcing workflows, standards, procedures, and processes
  • Strong working knowledge of projects, requirements, and standards typical of consulting engineering organizations
  • Ability to guide, educate and provide coaching to employees on quality assurance and control requirements and areas of improvements
  • Strong ability to facilitate discussions and negotiate mutually beneficial solutions when necessary
